If I have 1000 objects in a bag, and I select 2 of them randomly, and those two have a particular trait, can I then infer anything about the other objects in the bag?
IE, I pull out two red balls, can I assume the majority are red?

You can predict 100% of the balls would be red with some low confidence value and then keep pulling more balls which gives more data and raises your confidence on the predictions you can make.

This is the extent of what you can do I believe. If you don't have any idea of ANYTHING else in the bag, then this is what you can do.

You're basically building the model of the bag being red balls on your experiment of 2 balls from the bag. That's all the data you have, so the only real model is that the bag is full of red balls with a very low confidence since that's all you've observed.
