There's a reason why it's called the "theory of evolution" and not the "fact of evolution." At this point it's more in the realm of philosophy than science. I recommend reading Darwin's original works, but also read the Bible to explore some different theories on how/why we are here. Evolution has some pretty clear arguments against it like flatfish.
