Why hasn't this been made yet?
I get that the ocean isnt as expansive and "exciting" as space but its still insanely important and would be incredibly useful for the development of technology

ok hear me out
part of the reason why the ISS is still important now is because the experiments that take place in a zero G environment leads to discoveries about how the world works that we wouldn't have nearly as much access to without said zero G environment
the deeps sea would be the same but with high pressure.
Developing technology for exploring, or even just sustaining oneself in an intense pressure environment would no doubt have a high amount of practical uses in the world.
Not to mention the amount of research we can do on the biology side of things considering the amount of Extremophiles there.
Theres even practical military application for developing deep dive submarines that can hide in the deep ocean that makes finding them searching for a needle in a haystack.
I really dont know how it hasnt been push for more
