I was looking over my highschool transcript, and was surprised at how low my grades were. I even had a 70 in keyboarding, when I could type 100wpm+ since then from playing runescape. I am a native French speaker, and had an 85 in French 1 and an 80 in French 2. I got into a regular state uni and completed an applied math degree with a 3.7gpa, but besides algebra 1 my freshman year where I had a 98(My favorite teacher that taught me to love math), I had 70s in the rest of my math classes, yet I clearly remember nearly always getting the highest grades on exams.
I am wondering, what is the grading rubric in highschool? Luckily this never affected my life, but how the hell did I have a 2.3GPA?
I was your typical antisocial kid with no friends that ate lunch in the school library, and my mom is Algerian and I was often confused for a beaner and got into fights for it. I wonder what percent of a US (South Carolina) High school grade is based on sociability and "participation"
