Larger males aren't better at producing sperm (size is not an inherent advantage to male fecundity). Larger males are better in situations where direct strength allows them to dominate more resources more efficiently, but that's no longer the case. Smaller males are better at modern forms of combat and labor. Being a small man with a gun is better than being big man with a gun (in a fight with guns, the small one has the upper hand), and as we continue to automate warfare and build more machines, having a larger population of super smart small males who need less food and energy is better than having a smaller population of super smart large ones who need more energy.
Big women and small men are superior for a nation with modern and future technology. It makes a huge difference. They will expand exponentially faster, while using fewer resources to support a larger population, and having enormous advantages in economic output and military power.
If you compute the metabolic needs and land requirements, you'll find that an equivalent population size requires about ~40% of the same amount of food, and about ~2/3 the land in terms of residence for the same quality of life.
It's the opposite of degenerate. It's a eugenic eusocial system that will absolutely fuck other phenotypes in the modern world.
