There's 4 subjects in school that should be taught:
1. English
2. Maths
3. Finance
4.Critical thinking
1 is taught in a retarded way that promotes mental gymnastics (normally to appeal to your liberal English teacher), or random books/poems. It should really focus on logic, grammar and spelling, and honestly closer to debating in general, legalise and fine print stuff would be good as well since it's the language the world runs by, not fucking poems
2 is needed of course but has a lot of retarded shit the average person doesn't need to know nor care for, or is taught but not enough to be useful, algebra follows these cases
3, surprising how many people don't know these, not that it's their fault to a point since knowing what you don't know isn't always your fault
4, well needed, literally just metacognition and the world is 100 times better
Everything else is just padding to make kids spend all day at school or propaganda (religious education in England makes Muslims seem like saints, meanwhile Christianity didn't have the same rose-tinted glasses).
