>>13865495Really you can do a degree (uk type, dunno americans and their dodgy system) in 2, maybe 1.5 years, or at least for mechanical you can, just get rid of the summer holiday and replace it with another semester, get rid of the pointless modules/classes (my case was labs, engineering management, some weird cars one), then if possible, reduce semester size.
I reckon that way you can do a 4 year course in 2 at the fastest then, could probably half a PhD the same so you can go from fresher to PhD in about 3.5 years.
It would be hell but for half the time, and given how much self-productivity has increased from going to the library to study from a book, it should be possible, even for midwits
