So my gf is in a NFL Pick'em league with some random people from her job.

For those of you who don't know what it is, you just pick the winner of every football game of the week, and whoever gets the most correct wins the pool for that week. Pretty basic.

The same couple people end up winning every single week, and I started getting suspicious, so I looked into how the game was run and found some sketchy stuff. Firstly, players can buy multiple sheets with different combinations of winners, which obviously gives them a huge advantage.

I also found out that the people who have won the most are the guy running the game and collecting everyone's forms and money, and his wife who both have 2 sheets, I believe.

I tried explaining to my gf how just by having access to everyone else's picks can drastically improve your odds, but I was wondering how the mathematics would support that.

So, for example, if there are ~20 sheets in the league, and you have 4 of those, as well as the knowledge of everyone else's picks, what kind of advantage would that actually give you? How difficult would it be to tweak your picks based on everyone else's to maximize your edge?
