Assuming that gravity is a displacement of atoms, approximately how many atoms comprise the earth's atomic structure vs atoms making up its gravitational field?

How is that wrong? If you decrease the volume but keep mass constant in an object, the density increases.

Density is the ratio of an atoms mass or particle composition to its volume of space the particles can take up. When the space of particles decreases but the particle composition remains constant, the particles become displaced as the density increases. Is this a good way to look at those 3 factors?

What is "space of particles"? Are you imagining some gas molecules which are sealed in a chamber with a movable piston or something like that? In that case, the density of the gas as a whole changes as you move the piston but it makes no sense to say that the density of the molecules changes. Also, none of this is related to gravity.

In your example the gas chamber would be the same though I was looking at the atomic structure of it compared to the gas. Like shrinking or compressing the gas molecules using the densely packed atomic wall of the chamber itself, thinking that bonded atoms would eventually escape or structurally break down to escape.

You can't speak of them as having definite positions (without measuring them using some instrument), things like quarks have wavefunctions instead of well-defined positions and all their interactions are defined in terms of these wavefunctions

It depends on how these things are being modeled. If you treat both the objects classically and the box as a rigid object whose size keeps decreasing and the ball is a point particle, then the ball just keeps doing whatever it's doing (bouncing off the walls, etc.) as the box shrinks.

That's exactly right. Another way to think about it: gravity is like "solid" energy while electricity is "liquid/gaseous" energy
