This is not to say they are unrelated because there have been successful attempts of unifying those forces such as the electroweak force in the early universe... it's part of the same paradigm so it's not "unrelated" but it's not "the same" either... and in science there's an idea of the 'unity of knowledge' however here you are asking specifically about chemistry and it ceases to be chemistry once you involve things like that (you'd be wrong to even bring it up)
