>>13859339they are called natural units, and they are fucking awful because they hide all the constants that connect different parts of physics under the number 1. this is exactly what you are asking for, but while equations become more terse, it's also much easier to make unit errors. those physical constants are your friends. even if i chose a system of units where all the constants are 1, I'd still always put the physical constant symbols where they should go to keep units straight.
