Scientifically speaking, couldn't we achieve world peace by internationally outlawing any and all arms manufacturing and making it illegal to possess any type of firearm? Further, we would have to destroy all existing weaponry.

This would solve so many problems.

Is this a good idea, and how should it be implemented to make it work?
