P versus NP problem

I have a theory on how to solve this. When I was in elementary school the teachers occasionally gave us mazes to solve. Starting from the outside of the puzzle to the center is the goal, but I realized you could solve the mazes much quicker if you started in the center and worked your way out. Starting from the outside you have many more branching paths.
