>>13854351>It is a model >because no car slows down by 1 m/s. Not a single carDo you seriously not realize acceleration/deceleration guarantees every single car will attain a speed of -1m/s at a point in time if it is crosses that velocity? Like seriously did you not know that? Yikes. Take an intro calc-based physics class. Your entire post is blatantly wrong off just that fact alone. Even still a car flying through deep space away from the effects of gravity will travel at a constant speed for longer than single point in time too. There is absolutely nothing in physics that says acceleration cannot be zero in real life.
You're wrong for other reasons too but above is more than sufficient.
>Only in your imagined headspace does a car slow down at 1 m/s. There's ALWAYS statistical noise making the 1 m/s model a MODEL.It has nothing to do with the measurement's ability to filter out noise. Nothing requires that an object in real life cannot have constant velocity (nonzero acceleration) and there is reason to think it happens all the time. You are totally making things up.
>>13854342>And then it was emperically "debunked" in some velocity regimeYeah put debunked in quotes like you had to. It wasn't debunked, it was found to be not have the same degree of accuracy compared to GR. That's not debunking it, it still works just fine for almost all applications. GPS trilateration is the only time we actually need something more accurate than newtonian gravity.
>Empericism still rules fagGR was identified before it was empirically verified too brainlet. You replaced an example with an example of the same thing.
