Cinematic videos are much better than recordings of a classroom. You dont need a guy standing in front of a blackboard.
1000 hours of class a year x 12 years=12.000 hours of videos can replace all elementary and primary school teachers worldwide.

Depends. I found classes where the prof does most of the talk with no practical stuff to be better offline.
I took theory of computation online in a summer, and I got an A. Despite others who took it normally claiming it is one of the hardest classes they took.

Other classes with a lot of practical work I enjoy more offline, as I can raise my hand and get help immediately when I have troubles.

I never really cared about the bulk of lectures, I usually showed up for the free points or to ask a question. Labs have to be in person, at beginning of covid we had to switch from our in person lab to virtual lab and it was useless.
