(My answer would have been D, but it's clearly not that simple. By 'hydrogen' they're referring to H2 gas I believe. Am I right?
But afaik, organic compounds must have C & H. And H2 is most certainly lacking something. Doesn’t that make it inorganic compound?
They did not mention any reaction related to the question. Just for the sake of argument, let's suppose, CxHy + Something = NewStuff + nH2. Now the by product H2... is it organic, since it has been derived from an organic compound?)
