If Earth's orbit speed is 29.78 km/s, what is the speed in mph?

If the average curvature of the earth is 8 inches per miles squared, what is that in feet?

If the Earth's tilt is 23.4 degrees off center, the center being a 90 degree angle what is the earth's tilt?

This is wrong. Curvature is simply the reciprocal of the Earth's radius.

If you want to know how much an object observed from sea level d miles away will be obscured by the horizon, it's simply

r(sec(d/r)-1)

When I forget which way the phases of the moon change from night to night I just figure it out from base principals because I'm not a brainlet and I know the moon orbits the Earth in the same direction that the Earth rotates (towards the East).
