common usage never went into "lol it has to be dead germs", it was moreof in the sense of "something you inject before getting a disease to prepare your immune system for it"
I guess I struggle less with the concept since I do not think in words but rather find words to describe the concepts I think of, and the word vaccine fits perfectly to describe my concept of, well, vaccine (which includes both ones like hpv as well as pfizer/moderna).
