economics is interpreting extremely limited and bad data. Trying to extrapolate models from said data without being to test your hypothesis. The only "test" you have is watching the economy unfold in real time.

It is unironically one of the hardest sciences. It took 200 years to realise that economies are more behavioural than classical. Such a simple conclusion took 200 fucking YEARS. There is still so much left undiscovered about how the economy works.

Markets are 100% efficient. Why do you think that someone being able to net returns is indicative that they are not. What does a random walk have to do with an efficient market? Markets are deterministic. You just can't think big enough to see why.

So you think that applying a random walk to soro's returns is sufficient to determine that markets are not perfectly efficient? You are also stating that market efficiency necessarily correlates to random walks. You can't perfectly describe a deterministic system with a probabilistic approach. You also can't know how accurate a random walk is for every instance and you can't interpolate that accuracy with time without it also being inaccurate. You are just wrong.
