how would it be powered? you would for sure need more moving parts than just the wheel.
next comes the question of power. legs have pretty low friction coefficient and energy loss, so energy efficiency is not going to be benefficial. would save energy rolling downhill only, but that's barely any benefit, as you still need to go up, and wheels would be a hindrance there.
speed is going to be a hard one as well. cheetahs are pretty fast as is. best we managed to achieve is through combustion, and if you do combustion, might as well go for jet power instead.
now, look at the development of a wheel organ. how would that work? it would have to either be 2 organisms merging, or start as one piece, and then separate. how would the wheel be maintained? go for something hard, like a turtle shell? what about the joints, how would lubrication work? right now, cartlidge is well protected, and doesn't rub as hard as a wheel would. your body would have to invent a fuckton of new things.
