>>13842568It is, it's called finasteride. But it's too late for you. Finasteride reduces your DHT hormone, which is the most responsable for balding, by 65%. Seeing that all of your hair is gone, there's no point at all in taking finasteride, since this drug slows balding significantly, or even completely stops it in it's tracks, if you're lucky. A very small number of individuals get some minor regrowth, but this are hyper-responders, and in those cases their hair just gets thicker in the thin areas, they do NOT grow hair back on their bald spots. A solution to be a part of this very small group, is to use minoxidil and maybe microneedle 1-2 times per week. Minoxidil is a liquid or a foam that it's applied directly on the scalp. The downside to those drugs is that once you start taking them, you're on them for life, unless you decide to stop and lose all your hair in a short amount of time. Also, since finasteride reduces your DHT, which is a hormone converted from testosterone, you will have in return more testosterone, since your body won't allow it to convert to DHT. The problem is that testosterone also converts to estrogen, so now by having more testosterone, you will also have more estrogen (which is the female hormone). If you don't plan on transitioning, having more estrogen is not a good idea. This is why finasteride can cause side effects, such as erectile dysfunction, decline of quality of sperm, gynocomastia in some rare cases. But, that's not so worisome since getting off the drug will cancel those side effects. Minoxidil on the other hand is considered less risky, but there have been reported heart related problems. Your only chance OP is to get a hair transplant, i assume you're not a brainlet so you have the means of getting the money needed for such a procedure. And for the others anons struggling with balding: hop on finasteride RIGHT NOW, or you'll have the fate of OP.
