Is there any reason why THC consumption in an individual while pregnant would actually be harmful for the unborn? I've often wondered what the actual mechanism for the harm to occur are, and I thought the nerds here on this board would know

Its likely fine, theres a mildly higher risk of miscarriage but no clear correlation of any negative IQ effect. There could be some negative effect though, so I would be upset if my pregnant ex did it, but not very upset, because its probably fine.
