OP it's probably helpful to distinguish between what the internet likes to think of as "Asperger's", which even if descriptive I believe is "officially outdated", for what that's worth (probably not much). But from my limited understanding pulling from years' old memory Certificate of deposit accounts, a vast majority of autists overlap with legitimate retardation or severe developmental problems, so they get the lack of intelligence and the attendant stereotypical autist features like non-communicative, perhaps some tics/obsession behaviors. It doesn't seem fun. The few uplifted individuals who have leveraged a mild "aneurotypical" mindset into massive success doesn't seem to be indicative, and often their success could in part be talked about IN SPITE of their predilections. I'm thinking of the big short main character, then that one lad who had an Icelandic tv interview after a week of cramming, and Michelangelo the mononymous artist who supposedly would keep boots on for years.
didn't answer any questions here, just spewed some filth, I'll escort myself out.
