on the other hand, nothing you will do at this point will change what box B contains or not. it either already contains million dollars or not, and those dollars won't appear or disappear after your decision. so taking both boxes should make sense - either it already contains million dollars and you get that + 1000, or in the case it doesn't you at least get those 1000.
but on the other hand because the predictor never seems to fail, if you take both boxes it should be almost certain box B is empty. and if you only take box B, it should be likewise near certain it contains million dollars.
