so whatever can go wrong, already went wrong ages ago. JWST is nearly 4000% over budget, if they had stayed within budget and not built anything and only wasted the billion, that would've been less of a failure than the current situation, which involves buying a $500 million telescope for $15,000 million. 500 is only 3% of 15,000, so if we're getting a $500 million telescope for $15,000 million then 97% of the money was wasted.
