How important are algorithms and data structures if I plan on majoring in physics and/or mathematics and want to study CS in my free time on the side? I can't really imagine how most of it would be relevant to things like simulations, terrain/procedural generation, AI, quantum computing, computer graphics (some not really related to physics per se but interest me), etc.
