Far worst then modern processors. Transistors have a faster switching time then neurons. Cant find a real number but considering they are electrical chemical devices you'd expect them to be slower.

Efficient in what way? You can't compare a computer to a brain as they are 2 different computational tasks. Makes it Incomparable for power consumption. I guess you'd have to construct the functionality of a neuron with a bunch of transistors then see the power difference. My guess is transistors are more efficient.
