It's kind of like, "What happens if you question democracy?" or "What happens if you use freedom of speech to argue against freedom of speech?" Communism is a no-effort enterprise. If you have to wonder if you are in a communist state, then you are not in a communist state. Inhabitants of a communist state won't waste their time entertaining the question, as there are more important things to do.
The problem with communism is that humans are generally gullible, and so you just need one Jehovah's witness or a self-help guru and you're going to easily poach away persons with fantasy and delusion.
