Normal people now use small portable computers with internet access. Two big corporations totally control all of them. They start becoming more or less mandatory. People all look at screens for at least 4 hours a day. They watch/read things totally controlled by just 2 companies. Some people plan their entire life around taking pictures of themselves looking successful and posting them online on websites controlled by 1 another big corporation.
Bitcoin is quite cool. You can own money just by knowing 1 long number. You can spend that money if you have access to a computer with internet by relying on some completely decentralised infrastructure. But it's not yet adopted by the normanl people. Kind of like the internet 20 years ago.
