>>13817765Assuming you're from a a country around 100, that would mean you're about a 1/2-300 occurrence. People one sd below you, we will say 130 and call you 145, are still 2 sd above average, and have an occurrence of 1/40 or so.
Theoretically, you aren't meant to be capable of communicating with people 2 sd out of your range in any meaningful way, and it's apparently nearly impossible to be truly intimate long-term who isn't within 1 sd. Iq is just a correlate, though the best one we have; Feynman was 126, and I tend to adopt the thinking that people with 125+ are more or less capable of anything. Feynman was just an incredibly meticulous and thorough thinker, utilizing more of the slow style of thinking famously known from Daniel Kahneman's Thinking Fast and Slow.
The U.S. military was basically the original sponsor of IQ. They determined that people below the mid 80s basically just can't be productive in any context. They outweigh their value, even as absolute grunts.
Scarily, it goes further than that. I've heard of research not published that people below 90 IQ literally can't conceptualize hypotheticals 95% of the time. I'm gonna look for my pic, but not that hard.
But yeah. You're kinda just fucked man. Meaningful communication shouldn't really be a priority for you. It'll just come to you when you're not looking. Ironically, it's once I stopped giving a fuck at all that people just started opening up to me more emotionally. I can still empathize with people's feelings despite just basically slamdunking everyone around me in terms of knowledge, critical thinking ability, logic, whatever. If you can convey yourself with emotional sensitivity, you'll notice much better results. I've started to have this like, mystic reputation that proceeds me, cause everyone just knows I know more but I never flex. You have to be a leader if you want to socialize.
