The autonomy that rises out of this nature is the combinatorial relationships of these two forms.
The initial limiting factors are the various agreeable uses by individuals, and the other factor, the place where autonomy must lie if it exists at all, is all of the unintended combinations and then some growth factor related to the infectiousness and virility of some combination. In general, the autonomy is only a mirage of the infectiousness, but there are things which beg for more connection. This is usually caused by the arrival of a meme and another framework of other memes, or the convergence of two frameworks. This allows messages to be sent that weren't genuinely thought up by anybody.
There is also the matter of their physical existence, as on iconic form in various medium, but this does not generalize to the physicalist and idealist perspectives in contention on this board. Either would hold the fundamental nature can only be either respectively. It is better to have a generalize anatomy which does not get muddied.
