How close are we to gathering resources from other planetary bodies? Or asteroids and the moon.
The who crux of the issue, is that the fuel is what makes space exploration and expansion so expensive.
Water can apparently be turned into hydrogen. And recently, it has been discovered that, through electrolysis, salt water can now, also be converted.
Why not just make a sea base, where you could draw seawater from the ocean, converted it, then pump it into the rocket.
Every element and material imaginable is out there. Once we start strip mining asteroids, we can finally stop destroying the God damn earth.
Also, Gundams.
