If you look at a list of the highest paid people in the world you'll see their primary role is either as an entertainer, an athlete (which really makes them a human marketing machine), or a manager (i.e. C-Suite CEO).
If you say 'demand' in terms of job postings, the number one most common job listting in the US is for 'Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers, followed by 'Registered nurses', followed by 'First-Line Supervisors of Retail Sales Workers'
The largest occupation category in the US is "Retail Salespersons", accounting for 3.8 million people, followed by Home Health and personal care aids at 3.4 million.
So neither the best paid people in the world are being paid for their mathematics, and the overwhelming majority of employees or job postings don't either.
