How do I improve my sense of smell? I remember reading in the Oliver Sacks book about a nigga that basically turned into a bloodhound dog after an epileptic fit. I love smelling stuff but my nose is seriously pathetic even for human standards. Pls scientifically help me out scianons.

Trust me I won't. I like smelling things, I don't mind even regularly considered nasty smells, like the classic farm manure ambience.

that should help make sense of the data you get but

if you want to smell things better, start by cleaning the nose, maybe go to a doctor to check why you don't smell so good

Practice. You may not be able to improve your nose, but you can improve your brain's perception. Not quite sure how you would do this. Practice with different scents, learning to differentiate between very similar smells, slowly increasing the distance of essential oils from your nose to learn to detect smells with fewer particles, etc.
