>>13813084>I don't understand the jump in this post at allIt's not that hard to understand anon. The average college major has an IQ of 115. But that is a calculation based off the total range of IQ for all degree holders that spans from 103-133. All those degree holders even those with an IQ as little as 103 have a college degree.
Because it is shown that people can achieve a college degree with an IQ as little as 103, the US black population even with an 85 average should have more than 2.8 million degree holders if you focus strictly at the top 15%.
>If your argument is that all the below average students possible should be pushed in with no regards for meritocracyThe argument is literally in the picture. You see that 103 for social work degree holders? That's the floor, that is the bare minimum you need to achieve a degree. I'm not expecting colleges to suddenly give out STEM degrees to people with an IQ of 103. I am expecting people with an IQ of 103 to AT LEAST BE CAPABLE of getting a degree even if it's just social work. This is an important distinction because it highlights what people are capable of in terms of metrics.
>The discrepancy is made up by meme majors which don't earn much and this will just lead to more bitterness and hatred.Let's be honest here anon most majors could be labeled as meme majors that lead to lack of earning potential. Humanities & Arts can be viewed as a meme major with low earning potential, especially compared to Engineering and Computer Science. But Humanities & Arts also has an IQ of 120 in the picture in question. Which is higher than Business, Accounting and Psychology majors despite the fact the later three majors on average make more money than Humanities & Arts majors.
