If i was responsible for making decisions on a global level i would do the same.

How do they class a covid ICU patient you ask? Answer: It's someone who tested positive within 28 days. So if I got into a car accident and had to be admitted to hospital and put into ICU, then the doctor noticed I had eczema, I would be deemed an "eczema ICU patient".

Do they test the vaccinated at the same rate as unvaccinated you ask? No, the vaccinated are exempt under certain circumstances. Also, the vaccines reduce symptomatic disease - and you only get tested if you are a "close contact" or exhibit symptoms.

The numbers aren't nearly impressive.
