Affective computing: encoding emotional behaviour

No.13810729 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I think this is more of a /sci/ topic since /g/ is mostly concerned about hardware and being codemonkeys rather than more "abstract" computer science. I don't think /wsr/ would result in a productive topic either.

So, I am taking an interest in researching how to encode emotions in intelligent agents in order to influence their behaviour according to the emotional agent's state and giving them a more human-like self-evaluation of state of being.

The problem is I am sure there is research going on in this topic, but I can't seem to find any articles on it no matter the keywords, all affective computing works showing up seems to be on emotion recognition rather than production.

So if anyone is interested in the topic, or is more dexterous than me and can pinpoint me to a set of articles to start learning the state of the art, I'd be grateful
