Walk into any non-entry-level professor's office, give them a problem from MIT physics 101 class and I guarantee you they could not do it. I recently asked my mentor if a certain scattering was Compton Scattering and he said he had no idea since he hadn't learned about that since the 70s, yet it's brought up in THREE quantum classes.
Veritasium even meme'd this into truth with his recent helicopter video. He reported that he spoke with physics professors about the question and some of them got it wrong.
