How can a habitable moon form orbiting a gas giant?

Not only do they have to be a very specific distance the gas gaint also needs to be close enough to it's parent star.

The has gaint istelf often expell extreme radation, and because of hteir mass they often attract asteroids, wich for any habitable moon orbiting it would have a higher chance to get dinosaured.

What theories do you have about habitable moons around gas giants?
