Science is kind of disturbing.

So everything is just a bunch of gigantic balls of rock or fire, floating in empty space? Except for one single planet that has "life" on it that can genuinely feel and experience qualia, but all of the life dies after only a short time of seeing the world? And then what? What the fuck is going on.

And the universe has existed for 13 billion years but what happened before that? And what the fuck happened before any life existed... if nobody was here to observe the universe for the first 10 billion years, then what happened in those years? 10 billion years of a completely black universe that nobody could see... did it really even exist if nobody saw it until 10 billion years later...?

Are there other universes that exist with no life on them that still exist even though nobody can confirm they exist? Similar to the first 10 billion years of our universe? Just a black box of soulless balls flying around in darkness and silence for 10 billion years?
