>>13806535It's true, races don't exist in biology, but only vbecause race isn't a taxon. There are,however, different populations that are acknowledged (a population is more or less a group of individual that is below the species/subspecies with minor differences). They can be useful in medicine for instance, because some populations need different treatments for a same condition (yet, I've seen twitter like "debates" among medical fields regarding this matter because some want to use the word "race").
The question to know if there are subspecies among humans, though, is taboo. Hence, it's hard to say that there isn't or there is, simply because you simply can't really study it... Most will say that there isn't, becuase it's the doxa, and if you say otherwise, thhen you are Hitler unless you are part of the holy minorities group.
