Hi. I am hoping some research + grade 10 probability bros can help with some number crunching.

I have been available to get a mRNA covid vaccine since about March of this year. But as a 30 year old male I obviously had no reason to go out and get it until the scientists have had a few decades to test it on the other guinea pigs. However now it’s becoming a point of concern for future career prospects.

As it stands about 200 people of my age range of died in Canada from the virus so obviously I am statistically not concerned about the virus in the slightest.

However when I find the vaccine death rate I only find the death rate for the general population which is misleading and irresponsible for me to compare it to since I know my personal risk to the virus for my age group is statistically close to zero.

So let’s say I have to get a Pfizer vaccine three times.

I would like to find the statistical chance of me surviving three Pfizer vaccines after one month.

If and only if that number is lower than my chances of surviving covid (which is known) then I will continue down my next step in the list of allowing myself to be comfortable getting the vaccine.

>um you would be helping others
Well actually the data shows that actually no I wouldn’t be, and even if it did. Fuck you. I am not going to unreasonable risk my life to make geriatrics, obese fatties, and immunotards marginerally safer to a virus that will do nothing to me.
