I thought that was the point of QFT. Its a hilbert space of hilbert spaces, the much bigger Fock space where states represent different amounts of particles and their own states plus superposition.

But it does work for many particle systems. There are just no closed form solutions for more than two particles and you have to use numerical methods to solve. But that is true for all many body systems and is not isolated just to the Schroedinger Equation.
