I am graduated in Computer Science, and I just scored 154 in the quantitative section of a GRE preparatory test, which places in the 50 % percentile of the test takers. Weirdly, I got a much better score in the verbal section, placing me in the 85 % percentile, which I wouldn't expect as a non-english native speaker in STEM.

I didn't study at all for this prep test, it was my first attempt ever, but even then I think the quantitative score is too low for someone in STEM, and I don't know if I would be able to score much higher with the proper preparation. Is a STEM student expected to score this shitty without any preparation, or is it completely over for me?
