>>13804234>animal cruelty within the meat industry on a mass scale, due to immense demand and a global economynot all cultures were carnivore in the past. Not all cultures are in this day. Also, science seems to be solving this with artificially grown meet, so no animals are harmed
>pollution, green house gasses, erosion and destruction of our environment and landscapes in order to facilitate the ever growing demand for raw materialstrue, Ill give you that
>global wars, genocides, persecutions, massacres, killingsthese are all societal problems/problems that stem from human nature, not science. Science is just a tool, it can be used for both good and evil, depending on who wields it and what their intentions are
>all on a much much larger scale than when the earth had less than 1 billion humans inhabiting itduh, that is what happens when population increases - things happen on a larger scale. Hell, corona is now a 6th largest pandemic in history despite having killed only 0.25% of people currently living (and that number is worst case scenario) simply because there are now a lot of people living. If you compare it with the next closest event that killed people in similar numbers in the past it would be several % at least. All events in the past were more intense percentage-wise but less intense in absolute numbers because population was smaller
>increased governmental control and surveillance of the populationonce again, a societal/political/human nature issue issue, not a science one. Science is just a tool.
>the more people you have the more interest groups you need to protect, everything like civil unrest is scaled up, crime etc.like I said, this is because there are simply more people in existence
>are they non schizo enough for you?you literally gave only 1 valid point relating to science - all other are not related
