Descartes died in 1650. He introduced the Cartesian plane from which you can geometrically derive complex numbers, aka i^2 + 1 = 0
57 years later, euler copy pasted natural logs from Napier and passed off his cringequation as his original work.
The lesson to be learned here is, that once again, Geometrychads absolutely outdid Algebratrannies yet again.

No. Infinity doesn't exist. The "infinity" thrown around in math is the result of an unresolved philosophical foundation. Modern Mathematics is founded on ideas that are just convenient to assume for doing math but are logically controversial. In reality, there are definitions of objects which only a finite number of objects can exist and definitions of objects in which all finite collections of those objects are incomplete. There's nothing else.

Yes. They are not numbers in the sense of fractions or integers, i.e. numbers that can be clearly defined. Pi itself is a ratio between two hypothetical lengths. However, whether or not it is logically coherent to even take those lengths in the first place is controversial. e is by definition a hypothetical limiting value for a monotone sequence. The concept of infinity is not required for either of these objects. They can be said to be numbers in a different sense as irrational numbers.

No. i is just $\sqrt{-1}$ . It's a placeholder for objects that are useful to consider but fell outside of the usually defined object, i.e. the classical rational and irrational numbers, 1, 5, $\sqrt{2}$ , etc.

No, infinity clearly diverges to any variable upper limit value, while all those discrete values you mentioned are points of convergence to a very specific static value, they are just difficult to express in a 10 digit counting system.
