Fahrenheit is based. 100 degrees is uncomfortably warm, 0 degrees uncomfortably cold. Unlike Celsius, which 0 degrees isn't that bad and 100 degrees will kill you

Agreed. I'm currently visiting Brazil and for me it's just really weird how people see a huge change in a temperature from 25° to 33° on C. I would be ok with this if they at least, when it came to the weather, showed the temperature in F as well.

both are fine for regular everyday use (ie. measuring ambient temperature)
if you had grown up with Celsius you'd be more comfortable with that
the real problem with farenheit is that it is absolutely retarded for scientific use

Both systems rely on measurements inconsistent to most people. Sure water boils at 100C, but only if the pressure is exactly 1 bar. That means for most people 100C isn't even boiling.
