I definitely would not have unified physics by thinking deeper than the fundamental forces and from first principles of locality, conservation, simultaneity, symmetry, and interactivity to derive that the Universe is fundamentally an infinite coordinate system with a real-number value at all points which compute in a unit circle from all points in an essentially algorithmic averaging equation.
