Processed food causes cancer. Ok cool.

I'm assuming that the actual thing that causes it is various chemicals/additives/ingredients like hydrogenated oils and modified starches and modified bullshit that we shovel into our food because slightly increased profits are far more important than not giving everyone cancer.

I'm underweight and in fairly good health. Can I eat my shitty little expensive "Amy's" frozen dinners without feeling like I'm giving myself cancer, since the only ingredients are actual food?

Or is there more at play?
