Suppose that I know nothing and I want to start math from scratch.
What are some good online resources which I could use?

Do a little bit of math each day. (30 minutes at the bare minimum) Focus on consistency and look for resources that are the most stimulating for you.

Examples include : Khan academy
coursera courses
Textbooks (Check out the math sorcerer, he does textbook recommendations)

Make textbooks your bread and butter. There are good ones out there meant for a reader, not all of them are an amalgamation of exercises and unmotivated formulas for a lecturer. Speaking of lectures, those have very little substance but do serve the purpose of giving you the big picture of a certain topic. Where they lack substance is they can't give you the practice in writing proofs by your own hand and own reasoning.

I guess I wasn't specific enough with the stated goal of "go on the paths of maths". That may mean mean many different things.
Let me try to pass down what is in my mind.
I want to be able to understand the language of nature (which seems to be math) to assist me in the other goals I have in life.
The math proving path which was provided with the math sorcerer seems good.
Another path is just learning basic high school math which to be honest I'm not the best at it.
I don't know how we can go with high school math.

Hello anon, I was in your place. The /sci/ wiki has a good guide for starting from scratch. Do khan academy and start from the scratch. Go from Arithmetic > Basic Geometry > Prealgebra > Basic Algebra > Math1 > Math2 > Math3. Get Stewart's precalculus book after KH for revision and as a supplement.
Its normal to forget stuff when you start, keep practicing and eventually you'll get good. Try to keep anki cards about definitions and important stuff. The unit tests won't drill you on definitions, so you'll forget them as time pass. Aim for 6-8 hours if you're neet and do atleast 2 hours a day (no zero days). Consistency is key.. Look at the wiki for stuff beyond hs math.
